Masterspred is a community platform. Your username, avatar, biography, creator status, published predictions or analysis, and community or leaderboard statistics may be visible to other users or the public, depending on the feature and your settings.

Do not publish personal information that you do not want others to see. Private account, payment, bank, and withdrawal details are not intended to be displayed publicly.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary to:

  • Keep you signed in and protect your session.
  • Remember essential preferences.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Operate and measure the reliability of the Services.

If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will provide any notice and consent controls required by applicable law and update this policy.

8. When we share personal data

We may share personal data only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Supabase, for database, authentication, storage, and related backend services.
  • Vercel, for hosting, delivery, logs, and application infrastructure.
  • Upstash, for caching, rate limiting, and abuse protection.
  • Paystack, for payments, payment verification, bank resolution, and withdrawals where applicable.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or prospective transaction advisers under appropriate confidentiality duties.
  • Courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect users, Masterspred, or the public.
  • A successor entity in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

These providers may process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell personal data for money.

9. International data transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Nigeria or the country where you live. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions, or another mechanism permitted by applicable law.

Contact themasterspred@gmail.com if you would like more information about safeguards relevant to your data.

10. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, keep legally required financial records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

Retention depends on the type of data:

  • Account and profile data is generally retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
  • Published community content may be retained or de-identified where necessary to preserve discussions, records, integrity, or other users’ legitimate interests.
  • Payment, earning, and withdrawal records are retained for the period required by tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and other applicable laws.
  • Security and technical logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to security and troubleshooting needs.
  • Deleted data may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups are overwritten under our retention cycle.

We review retention periods as the Services, legal obligations, and operational requirements change.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls, authentication safeguards, encryption in transit, restricted service credentials, logging, rate limiting, and private handling of account and financial responses.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, protecting your device and account, and notifying us promptly at themasterspred@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may have the right to:

  • Ask whether we process your personal data and request access to it.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of data in appropriate circumstances.
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing.
  • Receive certain data in a portable format where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Object to direct marketing at any time.
  • Complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

To exercise a right, email themasterspred@gmail.com. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity and protect your account. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, including obligations to retain transaction records or protect other users’ rights.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority in your place of residence.

13. Account deletion

You may request account deletion through the account Settings page. Before voluntary closure is completed, purchased coins must be spent and valid creator earnings must be withdrawn. We may still lawfully retain records relating to transactions, creator earnings, withdrawals, fraud, disputes, or legal obligations after the account is closed.

If you cannot access the Settings page, contact themasterspred@gmail.com. These balance-resolution rules do not remove any data-protection right or remedy that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Deletion does not necessarily remove content already lawfully shared with or independently stored by other users, although we will handle the account and associated content as required by applicable law.

14. Marketing communications

We may send promotional email where permitted by law and, where required, after you opt in. You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting themasterspred@gmail.com. You may still receive essential account, security, payment, and service messages.

15. Automated systems

Masterspred may use automated calculations to operate feeds, leaderboards, content rankings, fraud controls, and rate limits. We do not intend to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects without providing any notice or safeguards required by law.

16. Children

The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly allow a person under 18 to maintain an account. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact themasterspred@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, providers, or law. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where a change is material or the law requires it.
